the best Broccoli and Cheese cassarole

Okay am I the only one ready for fall? That is my favorite time of year!! Everything about it. The cooler weather for sure! But the festivals, fair, and Halloween and leafs changing. What not to love?

Anyway fall is also my favorite time to cook! I always have a cassarole, or soup in the crockpot!

Today I made my Nans broccoli cassarole and let me tell you it's AMAZING.

Ok ok I know enough of me writing you just want to know how to make it!?

You will need 1 1/2 cup of mayo. ( Dukes is the only one I buy! So good!!
1 family size cream mushroom soup.
( can of mushrooms ) I didn't have any
2 eggs
Salt pepper
2 cups cheese ( I use Cheddar)
Half stick of butter
And a sleeve of butter crackers.

In a bowl ( or I just put everything in the crockpot to mix )
Mix cream soup, mayo, 2 beaten eggs, salt and pepper

Mix well

Add cooked broccoli or thawed frozen broccoli
Mix

Okay the best part! Add the cheese... cheese makes anything better!!

I put it on high for about an hour.

Melt the butter and mix the crackers. ( I never add this until I'm eating ) not when I do it in the crockpot it tends to get mushy from the lid and moisture. If you bake in the over feel free to add before baking.

Trust me it's amazing. Let me know if you try it! Make sure to follow my social sites I will be uploading a lot.

spicy pulled pork sandwiches in the slow cooker

Ok so these are something that literally takes 5 minutes and you can cook on low all day and have for Lunch or Dinner. Throw on a bun and Done! Huge hit and you'll love them I promise! I made mac and cheese on the side... who doesn't love mac and cheese? I could eat that everyday! My husband on the other hand isn't much of a fan!? 🤔 but he loves pasta? I know it never made much sense to me either... ok ok you're here for the recipe to pulled pork not a mac and cheese story. So if you didn't already just scroll down looking at pictures thanks for caring to read my mindless ramble!
Look how good they came out! And I used the Hawaiian sweet rolls really tied into the spicy well. And if you are not a huge spicy fan ( my husband normally isn't but liked these the way I made them and did say they where not too hot! ) but they had a little bite to them. You can cute the cayenne in half!
Here is what you will need

Mix all the season coat all the pulled ribs and throw in the crock pot and DONE!

Rather watch me do it? Here is my YouTube! Make sure you subscribe and follow all my other social links! Let me know when you try it! For sure use the sweet rolls really makes them!! After writing this ( I made them last week) I'm already wanting them again. One bad thing with kate editing.

ENJOY!see you in my next post!

frosted flake cookies

Okay so I normally make these on Christmas and shape them like wreathes and add food coloring. ( check my instagram or pinterest) but since it was just a ordinary day and I was just trying to use up some left over cereal I opted out that step.

These are my husbands favorite. And a twist on a old school tradition. ( rice crispies) and most the time we have all this laying around and really we can use any cereal. As I have many of times. Normally calls for regular corn flakes but I use frosted and makes extra sweet and I'm completely okay with that. If you are not use plain. Ok sick of me going on and on yet? Ready to get to how easy this is? Or did you already skip over all my typing? Hey no cheating.... you have to read my full blog don't just use me for my recipe lol ok ok here it is...

You will need
2 cups cereal ( whatever you want ) I used frosted flakes
A bag of full size marshmallows
A table spoon of Vanilla
1 stick of butter
..... drum roll.... ta da that's it. How easy!? Told you.

Bow here is how you do it
Get a pan melt the butter and marshmallows do it slow. Add vanilla and stir.
Add cereal and mix till completely coated
You can add in food color for holidays, sprinkles etc.. you can make these into a sheet to cut into bars or do drop cookies like I did either way works.
How easy?

Fall stove top potpourri

Ok so I must admit... fall, and winter are my favorite times of year! I love the season changes, leave changing colors, gets cooler out. Sweater weather, leggings and boots! Just the whole feel of fall ♡ and not to mention all the fall smells, food and activities!

I like my house to smell like fall too and for me it takes me back to when I was a kid and my mom would have this on the stove... I'd always go into the kitchen thinking it was apple pie only to realize it was potpourri on the stove.... ahahaha the disapointment!?

But as a adult I now know why.... :)

What I used was a whole apple sliced
2 cups of water ( it will evaporate throughout the day you will have to add more )
Cinnamon sticks and cinnamon powder!
Cloves
And never too much vanilla

Wish I could say I measured this and have a exact recipe for you...   . But I dont.

Guess and play around I like a lot of vanilla ♡

Looks cute.... smells amazing! Go ahead try it out! Can't smell it through this blogg... I wish!

Happy fall activities.

Homemade meatballs and sweet n sour sauce! Easy dinner!!!

Ok so these are honestly amazing!
One of my most requested meals from my kids and hubby!

I've put these over rice and egg noodles either way is really good, but I like rice better...

Ok ok you ready to know how I did this ?

I made my meatballs homemade! But for sure if you like to use frozen ones you could. Fresh is better... it's not that hard.

3 eggs
2 chopped onions
2 lbs hamburger
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
Mix

Form into balls.
Whatever size you like
I use little muffin tins but use whatever!
I like to make extra they freeze great.

Ready for the sauce? ?
2 ingredients that's it!
No really and it's amazing!!
Chili sauce and grape jelly
That's it!
Sooooo good

Throw both of them in the slow cooker

Mix them together!

My meatballs cooked on 400 degrees for 18 minutes

Once sauce is mixed

Throw your meatballs in and mix around.
These can keep in slow cooker all day if you like! This is enough sauce for 2 pounds of meatballs!

Sauce will thicken

Put over rice omg yummm!

Make extras you will want left overs !

Rather watch me do it?
I also do youtube videos come check them out! tons of recipies and random videos!
